Ingredients
- Apples 4
- Water 1 cup
- Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
- Apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp
- Nutmeg powder a pinch
- Rolled oats 270g
- Sliced almonds 70g
- Pumpkin seeds 70g
- Sunflower seeds 50g
- Sea salt a pinch
- Dried coconut flakes 60g
- Raisins / Dried fruit 100g
- Apple sauce 60ml
- Coconut oil / Butter 113g
- Honey 60ml
Steps
Step 1. Homemade Apple Sauce
- Peel, core, and dice the apples.
- Cook them with water and cinnamon until soft.
- Blend until smooth.
Step 2. Mixing
- Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add honey, apple sauce, and melted butter. Mix until well coated.
Step 3. Baking
- Bake at 180°C until golden brown (approx 25-30 mins).
- Add coconut flakes in the last 5 minutes of baking.
Note: The granola will be slightly soft when first removed but will become crunchy once fully cooled. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
